So I kinda got into Minimal this weekend

I've never really liked Minimal, but I was forced to listen to it pretty much all weekend lol. But I'll admit, I heard some pretty BAD-ASS stuff!! :eyes:
One particular track that took me over was called Emissions. Now, I don't know if it's considered Minimal or prog house or what (God everything has to have a genre these days but no one can agree what is what :rolleyes:). Anyway, I heard this ing awesome set by Moguai last night, which I considered to be a sorta minimal trance set I guess, but that's where I heard this track Emissions.
But production-wise, I think Minimal is very unique in the way that EVERY sound is vital to the track, unlike trance where there's so many sounds thrown in 1 track that you can get kinda confused as to what you're listening to.
The point is, I really got into this sound and as I want to get into producing, this may be the easiest way for me to start, seeing that trance is so complex. Some of that is soooooo deep!! So who's got some good minimal sets I could download? |

| Minimal is an acquired taste.... I didnt like it the first time I heard it, I doubt many did... |

| minimal is not as easy to produce as u think. the border between a good track and pure is very thin |

I think in the past I only heard the pure :p
And I'm not sayin it's easy to make, I don't think any sorta music is "easy" to make... just less complex. Hence, Minimal :toothless |

I find this funny. I think that's a horrible track that does no justice to the genre.
