Especially when there's a lot of talented coaches that could take his place, particularly former players (e.g. Deschamps or Blanc). I read the FFF gave him until the end of the year to prove himself, but I have no idea what that means. He squad selection was horrendous, so an extra six months isn't going to fix that in my opinion. I thought him proposing to his gf after the loss to Italy as a sure sign that he knew he was getting the boot and wanted to deflect media attention.

And I'm still trying to understand the point behind this whole Ronaldo debate. Every controversial comment I've seen was purely based on speculation by the media, so I'm not even going to bother paying attention until the he himself comes out and gives the final word on his plans.
Real Madrid is good. So is Manchester United. One is better using one set of criteria (long history, number of European Cups won, etc.), the other is better using another set (recent history, ownership of the best player in the world, etc.). Not a big deal. |

you will be happy haha i didn't listen/read anything about this, but Metzelder it's necesary for Real Madrid because Cannavaro is injured and Heinze could go to Olympic Games. Only Pepe, Ramos and Metzelder will be avaible to play on this position.

I hope it's true. La Liga needs to keep attracting classy players like him, and try to hold on to some of its own as well. Rumours are the Espanyol's Luis Garcia is heading to Tottenham. One of the most underrated strikers of the past couple of years; hopefully he can follow Torres and make an impact in England at least. :( |
