Please, like Gerrard would ever leave Liverpool. Beside all the pride of growing up there and his relationship with the fans, nobody outside the city understands what the hell he's saying anyway.

Rafa wants Barry but will have to wait til after the end of the season to begin talks as O'Neill has requested.
Crouch has another year and the only problem is is that he wants alot more 1st team action, Rafa wants to keep him unless he wants to go.
Kewell definately going, Hyypia I think has had his contract renewed to another year.
Gerrard has been wanted by someone (somebody tell me who) for £25million but Rafa turned that down.
Kaka apparently is going to be put on the market at £55million to settle some debt for AC.
kaka for 55 million? What a joke.

In terms of the lulz, this definitely topped Liverpool asking for 15 million for Robocrouch :haha:

Leave it to Chelsea to buy another Porto defender on the cheap: This time right-back José Bosingwa for a mere +€20 m. Maybe this will make room for Essien to play in the midfield where he's most comfortable.

anelka leaving chelsea
baletti leaving chelsea
drogba leaving chelsea
shevchenko leaving chelsea
real madrid interested in carvalho
thomas gravesen leaving everton

Id like to know how much money chelsea have wasted i would say a good 70 - 80% of the players they have bought have been a flop.

It's right about the fair value for him. In physical terms he's unbelievable: VERY quick, tons of stamina. Knows how to integrate himself into attacking plays very well, in fact at some points this season he was been probably THE key player in the team to create danger, more than Quaresma, more than Lucho. He is versatile, as he can also play as a defensive midfielder (his original position) and at rare times as a right winger. He's fairly good at defending, it's hard to get past from him, as you'd expect from a right back!

His weak points are some occasional brainfades (like passing the ball to opponents), and his crossing abilities, which have improved with time but still are hardly Beckham-level.

You'll get to see more of him at the Euro as he has now what used to be Miguel's place in the national team. He's a fairly similar player to Miguel, actually - but currently on better form, by far.

Thanks for the info. Although I despise teams like Chelsea for inflating the transfer market, I am one to appreciate when big money buys work out.
Ian
if Hleb leaves Arsenal, expect Wenger to pursue Hatem Ben Arfa heavily as a replacement on the left side of midfield.

El Hadji Diouf to leave Bolton. teams from france & spain interested as well as Man City apparently but it depends who's in charge there. Expect fee to be around 3-4million pounds (he has 12 months left on his contract which is why we asked 10million last summer)

Jussi Jaaskelainen to leave bolton, probably for Aston Villa
Andranik to leave for Sunderland (ing megson, this guy has potential, stupid ginger ****)
Stelios to head back to greece on free transfer
Ivan Campo to Athletic Bilbao or Real Sociedad on free transfer
Abdoulaye Meite expected to return to Ligue 1

Spurs to be linked with anyone and everyone due to their strong hold over the london based media. Expect Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi, Bojan, Raúl, Beckham, Zidane, Maradona and Pele all to be linked with transfers to the kosher team.
