I agree with the thread starter - they do have their heads up their arses.

I saw them play last year, in a booth with high sides, inaccessible to annoying fan boys, but they just kept cracking the s anytime anyone at the front made too much noise or went to crazy, didn't smile for the whole set, etc etc.

Saw Dickwad spin at Area 1 - what a ing twat he was. Stood there totally emotionless, not even looking up at his fans. Didn't sign any autographs, just turned around and walked off after his set was over. Set was boring as too. Never got into their sound due to sheer arogance of those two. Even seeing them live b2b in Twilo didn't change my mind. Whutever, big important ing mr. djs. piss off.

When I saw Sasha he looked pretty neutral most of the time, but toward the end of his set he started grinning and dancing. Seemed like he was having a pretty good time.

If I had to choose between DJ "attitudes," I'd choose a subdued demeanor over the clownish type that constantly "performs" for the crowd any day.

Although admittedly some do a good job of transmitting their enthusiasm, but in other cases it just comes off as silly and put-on.

Went to this Sasha & Digweed gig yesterday, I was psyched to finally see them play together, see the Maven with my own eyes and .

The set was excellent (especially Digweed's part) whereas I was kinda dissapointed by Sasha's little use of the Maven during his set but the main downside was THAT THEY BOTH SHOWED A TY ATTITUDE FOR 4 HOURS!!!

They didn't want anyone to take a picture of them (yeah, you show yourself as a huge DJ in front of thousands of people but you don't want your picture to e taken...)

They NEVER smiled or showed any compassion with the crowd.

Fans (including me) were automatically dissed when approaching one of the two guys.

And other things...

To make a long story short, it was like this: come to the club, set up gear, play, get cash and off.

Why are they acting this way? Has it always been like that with them?

I saw them in Boston... the set was prearranged, so a little boring. Sasha didn't use Maven, BUT they didn't care about pictures. Before the party someone brought a giant bottle of Grey Goose and two pitchers, cranberry and oragne juices to the DJ 'booth'. sasha kept going under the table... by the end of the night he was tipsy, so he was smily. They were fun. Depends on the venue?

drunk in that one

Thinking of how amazing he is
