Why do Sasha & Digweed both have sh*tty attitude? (pg. 7)

| but ya in regards to this thread in general. Those guys are touring, doing gigs like 3 or 4 nights a week. Their heads probably hurt, they're probably tired, they probably forget what city they are in half the time. You can't come at these guys unless you've walked in their shoes |

When Digweed played here in a small (300 capacity) club about 2 months ago he rocked the house.
I hate strobe lights with a passion so when this lighting was turning it on n off as he pleased during his set, i wrote a Digweed a message on my phone n showed it to him saying "yo could you get that guy to lay off the strobe. Its , youre awesome, hope you're having fun - we are!". He read it, n wrote back "i know, he's a ing twat".
End of strobe light.
Digweed's a chiller - not a rockstar you needa take photos with. Do you go see a DJ to hear music or get a snap shot with him? Cool, now get over it n enjoy. |

That doesn't make them a good DJ. It just means they are not celebrity enough yet to still be able to do that without being mobbed by 1000 gimps trying to touch their hero.
Djs are people just like the rest of us. They're not some Hollywood star. So why treat them like they are? Be normal around these people, and you might make a first impression less threatening toward them... |

That Tony Wilson quote was epic win.
And if the only way I had to make the bulk of my income was spending 5 to 7 hours a night in a club surrounded by sketchballs of every color in the rainbow (all of whom want to be your best friend) only to be followed by nonstop airport travel, I would probably not be too thrilled about it most nights either.
Doing what any of the jocks who are constantly traveling do would drive me to the brink of insanity within a weeks - so I can only imagine how thin it has to be wearing on two fellows pushing 40. |

I don't believe there are is an excuse that can be made for them. The fans are the reason they are where they are at. It should be out of appreciation to spend 15 minutes with a couple fans after the fans supported them. |

How is he supposed to know the guy that's pulling him aside asking questions on his way out of booth isnt totally in annhilated and is about to waste his time. Or maybe the guys going to do something even stupider like request his favorite trance track. Maybe Sasha was on drugs. Maybe his girlfriend broke up with him. Who the cares. You go to a party to be with your friends. You should spend your time with them and focus on meeting new people, speading a good vibe amongst the crowd. |
