I love how many styles you've got in there that wouldn't exist if it weren't for hip-hop.

And you forgot epic house.

Doesn't this just make you want to kill yourself, adi?
DJ Mikey Mike
Well looking forward to this actually. Kanye West puts on a great show and is by far the most talented person on that lineup.

I'm also really looking to seeing Mark Ronson and Moby for the first time. Moby's EM in particular was ing boss and I hope to hear something similar.

I haven't heard his EM so I can't vouch, but his recent beatport chart was absolutely dire.
DJ Mikey Mike
I wouldn't know, I don't listen to beatport charts.

Everyone that i know who went to DEMF were laughing at Moby being on the bill, then were pleasantly surprised. Wonder what happened :conf:

Dojomaster26
In the late 80s/early 90s, before Moby did the mellow-Pop 'Play' stuff, he was a very well-known DJ.

Google 'Voodoo Child', 'UMF', 'Go'

On topic: I don't LIKE that Kanye is on the bill for this festival, but I don't really care about it either. If I don't want to see Kanye then I'll go to a different booth.

Actually before Play he wasn't every well-known at all. He was a local LA/NY dj spinning in warehouses :wtf:
