Sure, he might not've been at the pop status he's at now, but to say he hadn't already impacted EDM and wasn't well-known is kind of false, imo.

This genre discussion is .
So, you have 3 groups of people
1. You get in their car, they have a Beyonce CD on, you go round their house, they have "Severn Sound" or some such on playing 50 Cent, they go to ty venue bars that play Now Albums, and have Radio 1 on in the Office churning out Cascada or some such nobrot.
2. People who hate all of the above, and make an effort to go to decent events, but go to commercial stuff like GateCrasher, Godskitchen etc,.
3. [majority of tranceaddict.com frequenters] People who think that stuff like Gods is too commercial, and go wherever they go (Fabric for me on Saturday)
Kanye West is some annoying piece of you hear ing everywhere, and is chronically ing irritating. You hear it on MTV whilst you get your hair cut. Some **** puts him on in the office. Chavvy pricks request it whilst you're dj'ing. chavved up Nova's drive by with plastic sounding subs playing him....
... And people who out of the aforementioned category 1, don't want that. End of story. |
