Still too soon, imo.

Some people do it. I think it's different for every person... sometimes it takes years for it to feel right to be married, sometimes not so much. My grandma and grandpa got married 1 wk after meeting and they've been married 57 years.

I think a lot of young people are getting married for the wrong reasons, and now it seems like it's "cool" to get married. People aren't putting as much thought into compatibility and long term goals because it's so easy to get divorced. In Brandenton I saw a sign for a business that said 'DIVORCE, ASAP! GUARANTEED IN TWO WEEKS!' I was like "seriously?".

Yeah for sure. But this day and age, for the majority, that's too soon. Just look at LEN's example. Like those two are ready for marriage, lol.

Haha, my ex and I broke up in January and she's been engaged for over a month now... welcome to the times I guess.

The thing is he wasnt dishonest. Just that the topic wasnt brought up.

she might feel he's now hiding subtle details from her, and now there's a lack of trust on her part.

See this right here is why this subject can get so heated amongst couples. If shes going to be upset of just hearing how many partners, why does she stir the pot further by asking about details? Shes asking about something she knows will get her pissed and cause them to bicker/fight. Girls do this a lot Ive noticed.

So then it's actually a good thing this came up.

It was totally too soon for them...but they wont listen to reason. They are in love after all. ( I think it was doomed from the start but I wont tell him that)

That was a different time though. So much has changed since then. I think it will be really rare as we get older to hear of marrages that are 50+ years and still going.

Not for him..because when they dont have anything to fight about she can always rely on this to really spice up the evening. He does have 53 awesome storys that she wants to know all the details about. Man does he sound defeated when he calls me after one of their bouts.

Oh god. I get a headache just thinking about dealing with someone like that. Ughhhhhhh.
