I was at Together as One for NYE in LA and the lines where insanly long but with multiple entrance the flow was really good! 1h-1h30 tops to get in! The problem with BEB is that you only have one entrance to Palais des Congres.

| having more than one entrance will defintely help and alot of those who conplain appear half an hour before the headliner and expect to be in right away!! |

headliners for BeB are usually around 2AM, still a four-hour lineup.
Everyones gonna show earlier this year and it's still gonna be a situation unless they sell less tickets or have more staff. Plenty of you (including myself) are getting tired of me writing the same stuff over and over again but this isn't brain surgery :p |

no rush for them, I'm sure they sold a boatload of presales just on the party alone, post Tiesto buzz will sell more for them too. |

Gotta love that wait huh guys...it's like a Montreal Massive Standrad these days. :) I couldn't believe the stories of 5 hour long waits from last year's event.
Oh fer sure. I'm definately showing up early. Actually, cause I opted for the PRINT-AT-HOME tickets and all that, me and my girl are gonna show up like 30 mins before the schdeuled "opening" (9:30pm) just to make sure I have get the actual tickets or confirmation or whatever I have to get using those PRINT-AT-HOME things. :)
I've read ANA PAULA is supposed to be spinning. Where are people getting that info. I've haven't seen any kind of confirmation via her website or anything. I think Calderone and A&B at least placed the date on their MYSPACE sites.

Yeah, wantickets was open at noon one year I remember, and there was no one there. Ppl have to use common sense. And I hope BeB staff do too this year .. lots of their own staffers suffered as well because of the long waits and stuff ... imagine the coat check situation at Tiesto :p
I also heard promoter Annie got it good for hours during BeB 13, having to refund all those tickets :p
'Have to say I felt really bad for my Toronto friends who drove all the way up here and booked hotels and got caught in a 4-hour lineup at 1AM. The Vancouver ones who flew across the country got in just in the nick of time...
This is supposed to be about world class djs at a world class edm event in a world class city but if this keeps up BeB will go the way of the Expos and Formula 1, imo. |

About VIPs....
I had one last year and almost didnt get in!!
We arrived around 1:30AM, passed everyone that was waiting in the regular lines but when we got to the door they told us we couldnt get in because it was too packed!!! It was just me and 3 other people. There was nobody in front of us. It was just us 4. Luckily we just waited for 10min. All I'm saying is that I'm grateful they let us in. Cause I wouldve been pissed. A refund cannot make it up to me. Its just unacceptable. |

they would never admit this..too packed. lol. At 130am.
anyways, selling less tickets would solve the problem, if they can't logistically have more entry points. That would be a drastic thing judging by history.. but who knows? They would get marshalls off their backs, make us all happier and make it easier for the ppl working there too.
If they scaled back VIPs from 1000 to 750 this year (I saw that number somewhere, can't find it anymore), maybe they will scale back reg tickets too... |

I've never seen this whole PRINT AT HOME thing before, but according to wantickets:
Print at Home - Print your own tickets and get in FASTEST (CAD$1.75 per ticket)LOL!!! *Hope this is true.
Checking it, I see that I'm to print these things which have a BARCODE which I assume will have to be scanned in at Palais. Hmmm. Guess we'll see what happens. At any rate, i'll still probably only go to the event anywhere from 9-9:30pm.
Oh and apparently the $90 tickets are sold out on wantickets. They are now $110.
