what's all the hype with Axwell?? it's the same club music as Guetta or Bob Sinclair.
Stuff you can hear in any other club, every weekend.
Where are the real house bookings??? We are desperately missing a 6am-9am booking to avoid another disaster in the house room.
Ana Paula i'm sorry but she plays the same tracks as Offer Nissim...That sound was hot 3 years ago! |

Have you ever heard what axwell plays live ? |
|
|

no! but I know very well all his tracks and remixes! King Richard plays them week after week after week....
Do you have a set? If you tell me I will like it I trust you..but people were saying the same thing about Guetta last year and he ended up doing playing top40 stuff. |

good point, actually. The Mafia house djs are different live than the Ministry of Sound fluff you hear at the clubs, imo. They will add some mashups to their beats, which is always a good thing for n00bs, as they'll recognize a vocal, chorus or two but then get introduced to more progressive sounds.
They are almost the ideal types of djs for this event, imo.
The Guetta set was very lazy indeed! However, I cannot speak for Axwell but Angello and Ingrosso were surprisingly decent. |

good to know! i'll check it out then.
So I'm guessing Axwell would play early. Definitely before Deadmau5 and Victor right? |

I've heard him live once and he did wel... in a club
Here's a july tracklist
It is more mainstream than Calderone... but not that cheesy
Especially after WMC... i'm sure he's gonna be pumpin some major new tracks
I think he's gonna sound like Cedric Gervais, who actually saved Bal en Blanc last year... and play a bit darker than what he usually plays
No worries for him... he's gonna destroy bal en blanc honnestly

I think Louis said Guetta was gonna bring it last year too :p
but yeah, Gervais was solid, I was surprised.

^^not a good barometer, just like dj productions' lists. However, my hopes aren't too too high for Axwell, to tell u the truth.
my best guess is lineup order might be like this:
local
local
deadhouse
Axwell
30 min live show
Ana Paula
Calderone |
|
|
| 84th Ave. |
i'll take axwell over guetta/sinclair/nissim
well from what I was expecting in the house room this yr at BEB, cant really complain (although some 'dirtier' house is need esp into the peek morning hours)
Im assuming that BEB couldnt get Prydz so settled for the next best thing = axwell
either way should be a fun time! |
