You're gonna pay to get in no matter what

The party happens once a year

Club need people to bring other people

Massives don't need the same type of promo

I'm sure you understand

OK, scratch free tickets

Reduced tickets isn't farfetched

It would only be logical that they'd keep a couple of the earlier tickets for incentives..

It makes no sense business-wise to sell 20 tickets full price...

It IS almost a monopoly but wouldn't they want to sell their tickets as early as possible?

O no
I almost forgot that BeB sells regular tickets over capacity which gives a wall of china lineup and a nut busting opportunity to sell VIP tickets at 200$ to skip the lineup that WILL make you miss the party.

Really ? lol

So if i understand correctly, here's the situation

1- You don't wanna pay to get it because you're coming with a big bunch of friends (who would come anyways)

2- You don't find that they know how to do business

3- You probably don't like their line-up so far

4- You whine about the fact that the event attracts way too many people... so what should they do ?!?... sell tickets at a higher price ?

I dont understand where's you're going with this..

Why do you even attend the event ?

No ? lol
malek
does madonna sell her tickets for less when she sells in bunch%?? nah...cause she's guaranteed to sell out... same for bal en blanc.

1- I'm whining cause I got my hopes high about making a profit, my organisational efforts amount to nothing. I feel like pulling a hissy fit lol

2- I understand they wanna max out sales but isn't it common business sense to give a deal to a customer who brings you more money?

3- I'm really just going for the fact my last massive was ages ago

4- I whine about the fact they sell tickets that don't guarantee an entrance. They sell more tickets then the Palais can handle. Allusion to last year, I'm sure you remember (legal issues, not enough emergency exits for amount of people or wtv)

I wasn't going anywhere with this if conversational purposes aren't good enough.. I mean .. this is a forum .. right ?

2. They would sell these tickets anyway even if you were not buying them. It's not Future Shop for god sakes.

They are the monopole, they can do what they want.

true. and i can confirm that some stores didnt charge the extra 5$ on both the regular and the VIP. but in the end what's fair is that pre-sale tickets end up cheaper than on wantickets. (was it cheaper for you?). and well if it can make you feel better, just consider yourself lucky that you have a VIP and didnt have to pay 200$ for it!!

oyyyy 200$... omg I just had a stroke... ugh

This is what I did: I appeared at Deisgn Hapy's doorstep at 12h15 (stores opened at 12h00), at had to dish out cash only 120$ for ticket + VIP. I bought two tickets... me + girlfriend.

Out of curiosity, I went on wantickets later on that evening and recall a 15-20$ difference. I think they charged a few bucks for willcall, and then a few bucks for VIP and another few for regular ticket. 15$ more sounds about right.

You know what BEB should do to keep on having good, faithfull people that will promote the event through word of mouth: the pre-sales to be much cheaper. This will positively reinforce the fans that are organized and will come to BEB no matter what. Place a cap on 2 tickets per person.

Actually there is a cap, not sure if i'm allowed to show a beb tickets contract... its 2 vips per person. But you have to realize that greed rules the world and no store would tell you to off if you show up with $$$ ken proves my point by buying 10 vips at once.
yankeeBaby
just got my outift in the mail! Fits nice...only one problem: its one of those fabrics where is you sweat one single drop it will look like a gallon of water hit you. ugh!!! CRAP fabric!! :whip: :whip:

I think the best thing to do is NOT sell VIP separately. This is the first year that I've purchased VIP tickets separately, I always buy combo tickets.

Malek don't know if you're referencing me indicating I went to store our motives of greed :).

BTW 10 was online, I didn't bother going to store. Every year friends wait till the last minute and have no VIP, I'll let them pay max price for regular tickets but at least they'll have VIP if I'm holding. Plus, any that you don't have are easy to move.

Plus one of my friends who sells BeB tickets every year was only getting 5 VIPs to sell for every 20 Regulars she sold. That was tough for her because everyone would want VIP, I told her to get 10 online and just sell them with her regulars; she had no credit card though so wasn't able. I tried to get her more but they are very strict about buying more than 10.

Kana you cannot just use different names, it's not that simple.
