I don't understand what a New York court case has to do with me. I live in Kentucky. Do you know how the federal/state system works? I cited the ones that matter to me; they're are plenty more that others can cite if they wish. I care about my protection though. There just simply isn't an easy answer to this. I would have a difficult time explaining to the people affected by this tragedy what guns mean to me; however, consider they somehow got the legislation changed so I couldn't own a gun. Then something happens to my family, I don't have the option to protect them anymore. How difficult would it be for an anti-gun person to explain their ideals to me after a similar tragedy? everything is relative. This is America, not Australia or Europe. We do things differently here just as you do there. This is our culture, ed up? maybe; but that's irrelevant. We have always been a freedom-loving society since before our country was even its own. The gun grants a certain level and type of freedom. Gun laws will not change drastically, at least to the level you all are suggesting, for a long time.

You are failing to even come to terms with the fact that the banning of guns will allow you to protect yourself in other ways and actually have a chance at protecting. Seemingly, you are too thicke to even realize this.

0 guns = 0 incidents of gun violence.

Ban guns in the whole country, and you will have a period in which guns will still be very prevalent, but all guns that are in the possession of their registered owner will end up destroyed. This will end the need for worrying about gun violence in general, although there will be a period in which you will still have to fear getting shot.

its really not that easy or that simple. There is no evidence of it ending that well. Europe and other countries are different societies, so therefore, statistics like gun violence aren't as correct or absolute as you think. I have admitted, more or less, that I am thick. I have my ways. You, on the other hand, are being just as thick and stubborn as I am.

Yeah, but if you want to be like "V" you have to take all your guns/explosives/ammunition and rebel against your goverment for the financial crisis and their greed. Blow the heads of those relentless capitalistic pigs. V for Vendetta boy

No, I used to be hardcore anti-gun control. I used to share the same view as you do. I have just changed and realized that guns do not have the place in the world that they once did. They are a mostly unnecessary device invented at a time in which the need for one was not just a luxury, but a necessity. We are no longer in those times, and therefore, no longer have the need for them in the same capacities.

It turns out that he was going to escape, but burned himself badly with his ghetto-rigged bomb.

Should fire be banned or more tightly controlled?

Discuss.

Don't be extreme and talk about banning everything now. That is just ridiculous.

Are you suggesting that we ban the discussion of banning everything?

You need to take a class on where to place the emoticons to signify sarcasm.
