| tho isn't fair to say theses days making trance sorry good trance thats not watered down e is rare to come by. let alone signing to a label kinda depressing really makes sence why no one really wants to make it theses days. |

it's not that trance isn't good to release, there is just too much of it. I can release 10 releases a week if I want to, but if the quality isn't there I'm doing one release every two months.
There is no other label (Bonzai) dictating what I can or can't release. Again, I can release ten things a week if I want. It's just a refined approach that both Bonzai and I are taking when it comes to "cracking down" on what is released.
It's like being a DJ on a dance floor. As much as you might love Trance, if the crowd is not getting into it, you gotta go a different direction. As a DJ of 10+ years, I understand that. It is not much different with pleasing listeners/buyers/DJs. That doesn't mean Trance isn't any less important. It just means that releasing tracks that were borderline are a no-go at this time. That could change. I've got many demos (all in one folder that I revisit every month or so) that I think are pretty good, but just not the right sound at the right time.
MFB you might have great knowledge when it comes to composition or whatever, but you don't understand the business aspect of things very clearly, and that's extremely clear.
As far as being a nurse and you displaying multiple signs of aspergers, yes, I do "understand" - Aspy's have a hard time jumping to conclusions which is what you did. You didn't echo anything I said. You took what I said and tried to turn it into what you wanted, period. Remember, try to look at things from others view points instead of just your own and remember you don't know and understand everything and the world doesn't revolve around you. |

| All things considered, understand the business side of things rather well. I also understand that you don't make money ( again referencing your post a few months ago ) and surely someone that runs a business that isn't really making money isn't really the person to point the finger. You run a beatport label which would not of even happened had you not received Bonzai's backing. I remember when I told you should probably take out your gear list in your signature and put a link to your label. the things you do and the way you present yourself tell me you have no clue what you are doing. But i suppose it is the same for almost all the other boutique labels that aren't making money. A bunch of guys with jobs using that income to sustain a label for the sheer novelty. |

Will email you this weekend with more info. Yes I got it. :) Top shelf stuff as always. Just one thing I am interested in trying different, will let you know, and get your opinion on it and we'll go from there. Hope all is well. I need to get MSN Messenger on my new comp. Speaking of which, you ever get a new computer? |

Yeah, but I went for a Macbook Pro in the end instead of the iMac, as I would prefer portability right now. |
