| Oh man, Maybe Nelsino will get the last laugh at Flabio after all, and bring down all of Renault a the same time! That is the second cheating scandal that Alanso has been involved in. Not that the first with Mclaren was particularly his fault, but he was still in there. Same with this one, he didn't make the call, but certainly benefited from it. |

^ I agree, but to a point. It's a shallow, hollow "victory" for Piquet if this does all go down.
It doesn't absolve Renault of any shady business at all. But really, airing this after you got canned for not being fast enough? That's just weak. |

It's a bone head move by Nelson to say the least. He will be black balled in F1, charged with dangerous driving by the FIA, all because Flabio called him out for being slow.
Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens next. |

Also, huge respect to Vijay Mallya for the way he handled the whole Fisi to Ferrari thing.
It's nice to see someone set business aside like that and not stand in their way. |

Looks like nobody is denying the crash was deliberate. Only diff is that flabio is saying it was Piquet who thought of it, and Piquet is saying flabio and symonds thought of it.

As Far as I am concerned, Briatore is a bumbling fool. I'm glad to see him out of the sport, and I hope he stays out. Symonds on the other hand, I think is brilliant, I would love to see him at one of the new entry teams.
Also, I fully agree with Hans-Joachim Stuck, if McLaren Mercedes is fined 100 Million for lying, Renault should suffer far worse. They endangered the driver, fans, and track marshals. There is no way asking a driver to crash is acceptable.

They weren't fined 100m for lying, they were fined for stealing ferrari documents. |

This makes me like him again :)
it is only an outline agreement, so he needs to get out of his Ferrari contract first, but regardless, if it happens this is awesome news! That certainly shakes up the driver market!
