Electric Zoo organizers Mike Bindra and Laura de Palma say they have wanted to stage a festival in NYC for years.
"It was a question of waiting for the right venue to come along, and we finally found it in
Randalls Island," says Bindra.
"There aren't many places in the city where you can have amplified music until 11 p.m.
and have a great view of the
skyline and river. We're hoping this will become an annual event."

for quite some time the sensation page had a "new york" section with blank dates......some people who work there had told me they were "trying to set seomething up for late 2008 or 2009". now theres nothing for NY that I can find...BUT hopefully, this will all change :) I know a LOT of people want this and a LOT of people who can bring it want to!! just a matter of time, i guess |

I think they said on the site (from what I remember) is that they send out the tickets a few weeks before the event. They also said to call if you havent received a week before the event takes place. |

| Can there ever be a thread in the NY forum without someone bitching about something? You guys wanted a massive line up, you got one. The fee's... they come with the territory. I guess some people are just never satisfied. |
