Mad scramble for a place to sleep during the Electric Zoo... My arrangements fell through. I'm guessing the hostels are booked & am trying to avoid high hotel costs.

I'd rather to give my cash with a fellow tranceaddict than to a corporate hotel chain.

So...I'd be willing to pay decent $ for a couch or floor to sleep on.

But hey, don't gouge me folks :)

PM if you are interested.

where do i go to purchase ferry tickets??
frozenmango
what time is armin spinning?
fiCti0naL
may I ask why anyone would purchase ferry tickets? I mean you can take a bus or even walk across the bridge... right?

I guess maybe I'm just broker than everyone else but I can't see myself spending $40 in ferry tickets (4 trips $10 each) just to cross over to randall's & back over 2 days...

$10 each way, yikes!!!! in that case MTA all the way...walking? i dont think u can get to Randalls Island by foot, or can you?
Chaska
Guys, don't underestimate the crowd. I'm getting some return tickets from the island, it will be a cluster at the end of the day, don't forget that ;)

Edit:
I just checked the MTA site. The buses stop running @ 12:30!!
edubbz
yea thats what i was concerned about- the end of day will def be a HUGE cluster!! id wanna come back in the ferry to avoid all people, car traffic and also get to my next destination as quickly as possible!

The website says you can walk the bridge... not sure if that's a good idea or not though considering I've never been to the area. It also says you can only walk it from 6am-9pm but with thousands of people trying to get off the island I'm willing to bet people are going to walk it. Any locals want to chime in?

It also says a "special event express" bus will be running "nonstop" & a $5.50 round-trip fare is collected en route to the Island. If you transfer from the subway or bus with your Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard, only $3.25 is deducted.

Thanks fiCtiOnaL for the bus tip :)

I think it would be safe to say to just follow the crowd. If you see them all taking over the bridge, I doubt the cops will be able to stop 1000's of people, haha
