The sound the dude makes when he gets tased is ridiculous.

The guy should of just gotten out of his car. The car would have been checked and he would have been on his way.

I never understood why people that have nothing to hide give law enforcement a hard time. If you are resistant, then of course you are going to get beaten down because you are acting guilty. Now if this dude was at his house and they came barging into his house it would be different.

There is no good reason to set up random checkpoints outside of ports and borders.

For example California DMV states "2800. (a) It is unlawful to willfully fail or refuse to comply with a lawful order, signal, or direction of a peace officer, as defined in Chapter 4.5 (commencing with Section 830) of Title 3 of Part 2 of the Penal Code, when that peace officer is in uniform and is performing duties pursuant to any of the provisions of this code, or to refuse to submit to a lawful inspection pursuant to this code."

You should do your research. The 4th amendment protects against UNLAWFUL search a seizure. Just because they tell you to strip, does not necessarily, situation permitting, mean you are required to strip. You need to really stop.

By state law, by federal law the undocumenteds shouldn't be there, and their children attending might be grounds for suspicion that the illegals are residing within the US ... but I know what you are saying.

Eh, they might have been, at least the ones on the Islands. They didn't have proof eitherway though. They just wanted names and they tried to bully the school district to get them.

My dad told them "show us a warrant or off"

Look at some of his other videos...the guy goes around trying to piss off cops while filming them. He got what he deserved.

Fugitives, terrorists, drug smugglers, human trafficking, kidnappers, and wanted criminals. If the law enforcement has a lead that someone will be using a particular route to get through an area then why not? I never really understood why citizens wouldn't want to help law enforcement catch criminals. Just a bunch of unwarranted paranoia if people don't trust law enforcement and believe that a road block or searching their car is infringing on their rights. I would much rather be a civil servant than a non-cooperative conspiracy believer.

Yeah, because the Gestapo was a conspiracy.

Conspiracy? Civil servant? WTF are you talking about? This is about waiving our constitutional rights. If we waive our rights, we have no rights. Why should a border patrol agent know anything more than if I am an American citizen? So you'r saying, if they ask you to do a "precautionary" search of your car, you'd consent without question?

Thats the thing though, these road blocks are not set up for a specific incident of investigation. They are just set up to trap people that happen to pass through and might be doing something illegal.

Catching people doing illegal things is not bad in itself, but this country is not one that should tolerate random road blocks.
