If so, it's the complete opposite here. Most coke sucks as it is expensive and very low purity, whereas speed is in high supply and easy to get. I suppose speed is a 'helluva' drug.
On ecstasy and similar drugs you can feel how tired you are physically but you can power through it. If you get good speed, you feel like you've just woken up, even if you've been awake for a day or two. You just don't feel those aches in your legs. It's much longer lasting than coke too; one decent line will keep you going for a few hours. |
considering speed is prety much the same high as cocaine and you can go 7 hours for 5 to 10$, it is very popular here. It is not as common to smoke, but you can find pills just as easy as weed, and you can find weed here easier than you can find johnny walker blue label these days;) (you can smoke a joint in front of a cop in mtl;) take that as you will ) |

We don't generally get coke good enough to imitate the stimulant effects of speed.
Coke's $300 a gram too, whereas louie is usually only $180-200. |

ahh both are much cheaper here.
coke is about 80 cdn a gram.
i just bought speed in pills usually (back then i don't anymore so prices might have changed. once in a blue moon i will be 1/2 gram of coke when the gf is away.) 10@ for 1 (6 to 7 hours) or 6 for 35$ (hahahaha faithless insomnia!)
weed (i quit too), i pay 40$ for a 1/4 ounce of nice stuff.
drugs are cheap because we are a major port city for north america nad have more boat traffic than nyc. |

I had a big weekend a few years ago where I got some really good louie. I had my last line at around 4pm on Sunday, slept all day Monday, then went to work on Tuesday. On the Tuesday night I was having dinner with a friend and my heart started pumping, I had a hot flash and started sweating. It was almost like another peak, despite feeling fine the whole day previous.
Also, the best thing about coke is the lack of comedown. Speed is a biiiiiiiiiitch. That's why you've got to take meth (or 'ice' as we call it here) instead. No comedown, at least the first few times. :gsmile: |

i bitch if i have to pay $50 for a G. back in the day (i.e. high school) we used to pick it up $100 a ball (3.5) but then again it was probably garbage because we were kids and retarded.
speed, on the other hand, is dirt cheap and always available, but only because i live in a college town and it seems like everyone has a script to adderall. i hate speed comedowns the worst.

i don't smoke weed anymore so for comedowns i usually do a ton of opiates. yeah yeah i know it's terrible for your heart/body, that's why i stay away from stimulants for the most part because i can't handle coming off of them without something to ease me out of it. |
