whoa whoa!!
ok no one has to agree and people will have their moments where it seems obvious how wrong they are but the bottom line is that this is a forum and forums are just that- a place to post your opinion and HOPEFULLY find some open minded people willing to help you find the truth or willing to listen to your opinion and maybe even take it into consideration. there is no need at all to use rude words like "peon" ect to make your point. If your point is valid and well thought out you can post it with class and make an even bigger statement.

TBH, these are the best parties going on now and it has been like this for a while. Best times I've had lately have mostly been in some filthy loft/warehouse/basement in Brooklyn. It's not necessarily a bad thing to me if things go back underground (which is how things usually happen during difficult economic times), the clubbing scene has been so horrible for quite some time and that ruins everything for everybody. If anything, the underground scene getting stronger will force clubs to "keep it real", in a way, with these illegal parties becoming competitors.

nah i agree, i wassent saying it as for it to be a bad thing at all
but it will only be a matter of time before nypd finds them and shuts them down also...belive me they do read club messageboards and do know about different dj's and crowds they attract/different venues and the crowd they cater to
so like i said from the start with pacha and cielo closeing down over this, is deff not a good thing BUT nyc deff needs another mega club...if not UNDERGROUND WILL LIVE FOREVER, WERE JUST LIKE ROACHES ALWAYS LIVING...NEVER DIE!!! :) |

It won't shock me if the city tries to make closing time and last call earlier in NYC. It's going to suck if that happens, won't be the same, just like how it is with Ibiza.
But I think you're an idiot if you think all the clubs are just going to get closed down. |

LOL, F*ck yeah!
The guys doing the (not-so)underground parties know this, that's why you'll never see an address for a reSOLUTE party or others of that sort unless it's a personal email. The best way to keep a party going is by always getting different venues, so if one place gets hot over time, they move on to the next. Personally, I think that place Jungle on Meserole got hot because ppl were talking about it on the web a little too much, aside from the fact that the guys running it weren't so smart by making flyers with the address. Oh well. Let's see where the parties go. Summer's here so all we need for now is boat parties anyway :p |

The times I've been to Pacha, I've had a great time, mainly because of the DJ's. But I never quite like Pacha's set-up and the crowd they brought in. But I live in NYC, so what do I expect.
But why doesn't someone take a gamble and build something in Queens, L.I.C. area or Brooklyn. It's still close to the city. Isn't there some saying if you build it, they will come.
Didn't the owner of Space take the same gamble in building his club in downtown Miami. At one time Space was the only club in that shady part of Miami, but people came because Space had the great set up and brought in the top talent. |

you are right about that
l.i.c does have water taxi beach, but the crowd on certain parties have turned it into tt,but on other days its a good spot. ps1 is also a cool spot
one room that i really liked and i felt had alot of potential was studio b in brooklyn...to me that was a great sized room and i could forsee alot of dj's turning that room out |

| Funny how the enthusiasm of going on missions for a good party anywhere in the Tri-State or around East Coast has been always none issue until as of late. |

Actually, the guys from Le Royale bought Supreme Trading in Williamsburg and have been doing a lot of improvements to the place. Now the guys from Biatch Corp and Flawless have regular parties there (Matthias Tanzmann on Friday) and it's shaping up to be a really cool spot. Haven't been there since the Circoloco party, can't wait to see what they've done to the place. |

Even still.. Space changed names like twice before it just went back to the good ol' Space.. not Space 34 or whatever it was before then.. jussssst space.
The clubs around it have changed names more than I can fuking remember. Have closed/reopen as something completely new. Right next to space used to be players which was a club/dave n busters - then that turned into twilo then that failed too.. now it's - i forgot.. |
