Sounds like a great idea. Did a classics mix a short time ago, but always interested in doing another one. I'm in. :)
Mr Game+Watch
Great idea, though I think it should be open to anyone who wants :)
Seppuku
Sounds cool.

No way. I know TA, and I don't want a thread full of 1999's most obvious epic trance, over and over.

Anyway...
Mr.Mystery
C'mon already.

Kicking off the competition, it's the man behind the hottest unfinished demo in TA history. He's known for his gorgeous ambient sets and a love of a certain French avant garde flick. It is, of course...

Jupiterone

01. Biosphere - As The Sun Kissed The Horizon
i tend to use this a lot in just about all of my mixes, especially my ambient mixes, although it's never noted. just a great and dark field-recording.

02. Biosphere - Hyperborea
this screams out sci-fi to me. also reminds me a lot of brian eno - in dark trees. it has this futuristic yet ancient vibe to it, almost as if you're walking through the jungle on hallucinogens.

03. Biosphere - Silene
grim, eerie, dubby track. full of atmosphere and depth. sounds tend to hit you from all angles even though it's so simple.

04. Deepchord - Vantage Isle (Convextion Remix)
i used to go on night walks all the time, with an ipod full of echospace material. this was always in the rotation some time. deep, dubby chords covered in a misty veil of noise.

05. Pole- Karussell
the bass is so groovy in this, it also reminds me a lot of king tubby for some reason, if he were a soundscape maniac.

06. Massive Attack - Three
first massive attack track i ever heard. my favorite to date.

07. Octal - Heavier Petting
night time music. again, something i would always have in rotation during night walks.

08. Massive Attack - Three (Trinity Dub)
favorite massive attack track, just a dub.

09. Aphex Twin - Xtal
what can i say to this? i think it's legendary and gorgeous.

10. Detroit Grand Pubahs - Rain
groove all the way, beautiful and rich atmosphere. little nuances all over the place that make me love this track.

11. Michael Langlois - Snap/Population One - Rush Hour (Convextion Remix)
rush hour blows my mind simply because of how much it reminds me of space odyssey. snap pumps and thumps and makes me groove.

12. Thor - Good Day
i just love the bass in this. the groove is also phenomenal

13. Fluke - Zion
:p. i enjoy this, it's a personal soundtrack classic to me. reminds me of the next track too much.

14. Redshape - 2010
futuristic rave. when i first heard this track it reminded me of zion.

15. Redshape - Ultra
reminds me a lot of martyn tracks for some reason, it's simple but it knocks me out silly.

16. Aphex - Digeridoo
it's like giving shpongle an ounce of mushrooms, a 303 and a bio-dome to produce a track in.

17. Richie Hawtin - Call It What You Want
this track just builds and builds and has such a great groove.

18. Circuit Breaker - Overkill
simply my favorite track by richie

19. Plastikman - Spastik
bra-ratata-bra-tatatata.
