Right, only now do I actually get to listen to this for the first time...

I have to say this isn't my kind of music at all (except for Fluke). Usually it just doesn't work for me. Having said that, I found the overall atmosphere very enjoyable and the mixing very smooth (even though that's not the point of these mixes but I'll still rather listen to properly mixed stuff than trainwrecks, thankyouverymuch). There's nothing really here that sticks out for me but then again there's nothing here that would make me want to turn it off either.

A very fine start for the series, we can only wait and see what the next one will be like...

Speaking of Fluke: J1, are you aware of Slap It? It's the full ten minute version of Zion.

For further mixes in this series, can I request that all DJs post a short history of what they first got into and where they got their first exposure to electronic music? I think this would give their selections greater context and make it even more interesting.

I support this idea.

:haha: indeed.

The amount of idiots who do that on myspace is astounding, and half the time their 'beginnings' are woeful (i.e. from the day he heard Sandstorm, DJ Moose was hooked on trance!)

this was awesome...so many good tracks. Great atmosphere throughout, and I raved hard at the end.

Did I say I was in this?

ing fantastic set jupiter. Wide range of styles, smooth mixing, great energy throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I'm excited to see what else pops up over the coming months.

Great start. :)

I wish we had one of these every 2 weeks instead of every month... :(

I think once a month is good, makes you appreciate it more. And Jupiterone, great mix. The whole thing progressed really well and I particularly enjoyed the song at 26minutes - which tune was that?
Those last Hawtin ones dominated too, the layering of spastik was awesome.
