I can't really offer any criticisms here. A great range and variety, wonderful track selection, nice mixing, all and all a great listening experience. I think that if you motivate a guy like me to dust off some of the older stuff you played in this set and give them a spin, you did a good job. If this is a sign to come in this thread, this idea certainly started off well. It will be tough for whomever has to follow (nefardec would be fitting but alas none of my business).

great job pollack.:p

someone better play lyot - vainqueur;p maurizio remix or stfu.

I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks. I'm assuming he's on holiday.

no clue, but he definitely would be a great addition to this series seeing as he never really plays exclusively what is new and has great knowledge.

anyway this is about dean martin for now so...;p

I have a list in my head of who I plan to invite in the next few months. Someone is already working on next month's episode.

I'm trying to select TAs who will benefit the game, give it variety and high quality and play unexpected sets. I don't want this to be a mere ego-wank for whoever wants to play, I want it to be something people will tune in for on the 1st of the month.

Variety is the spice of life.

j1, this is really legendary. I love the way the mix continues to emerge all the way through. It really builds and grows and evolves - feels very organic, as any classics mix should.

Fantastic stuff, and I'll be listening to this until Oct. 1 for sure.

First set in this series is amazing.:)

This is a GREAT idea!!! :eyes: Although I doubt my set will ever make this, since I am known to screw up on mixing sometimes ... though I notice that mixing is not very important in this series

:D

EDIT: I own quite a few Choice - A Collection of Classics compilations, my favs are John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia, but I'd like to hear what TA's have to offer!

I think the fact that no one knows who the you are would be a more significant hurdle.

jupiterone, this mix was awesome, I think I liked it even more than Stardust. I was really surprised that you were able to move so smoothly from the ambient at the beginning to the pumping at the end. The mixing and selection were pretty much flawless. Did you do this on your Lemur, you lucky bastard?
