Eight Years Ago (pg. 4)

| Homeroom in 6th grade, some school counselor came in the class (he liked my teacher so he was always in our class) and he was like "turn on the tv! two planes hit the world trade center blah blah blah" and I had no idea what was going on. We watched the t.v. and everyone was like "holy .." and everyones parents went crazy and picked up their kids in fear that there might be other attacks (possibly at a school) throughout the day. My dad came to pick me up early at around 10am and I remember there not being a single plane in the sky. We both watched the Spanish channel all day and were pretty freaked out. |

i was living with my boyfriend at the time in miami and his teenage sister was crashing at our place for a while because she faught with her mom. anyway, so she was sleeping on our couch and had to have the TV on to be able to fall asleep at night, so i was walking from our bedroom into the hallway bathroom to pee in the morning and i happened to glance in the livingroom and saw the news channel on with her sleeping on the couch and all i saw were the words "AMERICA UNDER ATTACK" with the buildings in flames on TV and i almost had a ing panick attack.
woke up my bf and his sister and turned the volume up on the TV and called my dad right away and started calling everyone, etc... |
