I was sitting in a library, and the librarian in a back office started yelling "oh my God, oh my God" over and over. I didn't know what had provoked it, but I knew something was wrong. Then someone turned on a TV with the volume muted. Within minutes footage of a second plane appeared. That was when I first realized what was happening on 9/11.

You?

I was sitting at my friends house. The TV was on with the breaking news and stuff...

I'm not actually 100% sure - I think I'd just gotten home from school, opened the TV to see if any crappy reruns were on and :wtf:

My most vivid memory of the day actually is in the afternoon - we still held football practice, and I remember stretching and wondering how it could be so nice outside on a day like that.

I walked up to my group of friends at our lockers, in high school, and my friend Betsy said "Ms. Clouston was just telling us that something crazy happened in New York City today"

I was slowly sliding my hand doen my pants and I felt a throbbing sensation. I don't know how I knew but I knew what to do. I began envisioning my peer tutor with her giant succulent breasts and as I tug I knew there was going to be an explosion. I gave out a moan and looked at my poster of cindy crawford. I looked at her face.. Nice. I looked at her legs... Nice. I looked at her boobs. Reaaal nice. Jerk jerk. I fewlt it first in my stomach then my balls began to tickle and I began to feel faint. Explosion.

Ill never forget where I was that day. I was 12 yrs old in the mcdonalds washroom.

I was at the dentist's and she was just doing some stuff in my mouth when an assistant came in and said "OMG, they flew into the WTC, you gotta see this!" and they both went to watch it in the waiting room TV. I couldn't have given less of a , still sitting in the chair and was like dammit bitch, you got some work to do here. So she finally came back and finished me up, and only when I went home I discovered what exactly had happened.

I was sleeping in. My roommate woke me up to tell me about it, after which I went back to sleep.

I was just waking up for school, and I had slept with the radio on or something and the morning show on the radio like they start talking "wow this just coming in, sounds like a plane just hit the WTC in New York... someone said its a private plane" and they start yammering back and forth and are like "oh thats not a big deal."

So I drag my ass out of bed and go down stairs and turn on the tv and switch it to CNN and it shows the live shot of the towers, one in flames and I am like "that doesnt look like a small plane hit it at all! :wtf:"

Then off to the side, the infamously classic shot of the second plane coming in, live, and I go "oh , oh ... OH MY ING GOD WHAT THE FLYING WAS THAT" and my mom finally comes down the stairs and is like "why are you yelling?!" and she sees the tv and then they show a replay of the second plane hitting and she started crying...

Yea...

My friend who is afraid of flying was just waking up too at about the same time, and she turned on the TV and it was the live camera shot that was looking UP at the second tower when the plane hit. She thought it was a movie at first or something, just showing the tower, and then a plane just cuts across the frame and explodes and she started screaming... :wtf:

Oh well its been 8 years... I was pretty sickened that day, but once I realized that it probably ed up the rhythm of the Mariners historic 116 win season that year I was really pissed! I am so glad the Yankees lost that year.

I was sitting in my 7th grade math class in Queens. The teacher came late looking really freaked out and told us about it. Watched what happened on some TV that they turned on while I waited to get picked up. At the same time my brother was a freshman in his new high school (5 min walk from the WTC), in his 3rd day of class, and was watching the whole thing from the window. They evacuated the school just before the towers fell. There are pictures of them filing down the street with the towers falling in the background :wtf:
