Yeah exactly. Hardwood + rugs ftw. Ugh. Do want. :(

my house in shreveport has all hardfloors w/ carpet in the bedrooms. my house here in oklahoma has carpet everywhere.

i like the carpet, BUT it's hard to move on. like moving furniture is a little more complicated compared to on hardwood floor. having a dog, i think i like hardwood better than carpet. but i have a really good dyson, so that doesn't really matter *too* much.

if you are stupid enough to drag your furniture on hard wood floors, you don't desrve it/enjoy the scratches:)

Near Dayton, OH (Fairborn). Cost of living is cheap here, but we did get a crazy helluva deal. It was a foreclosure, and I don't think the bank actually had any idea how much had been done to the house (like the 6-ish car garage). It actually looks like a 2-car from the street, but it runs the entire length of the property. :)

The back half is going to be made into a sort of "party room" for entertaining. Gonna put my DJ setup out there, etc.

Congrats, owning your own house is one of the best investments you can make, especially when you have the opportunity to rent it out and make profit off that . My parents bought their own house in a nice area in Yonkers and I've been living in the upstairs portion of the house which is a nice 2 bedroom with hardwood floor finish but still help them out with mortgage payments whenever they need it. If it wasn't for their decision to get a home I would've been living in a hole apartment because my credit history isn't that established enough and I've only been back in NY for 2 months .

They rented out the lowest portion of the house to this nice Irish couple with 2 kids and they haven't missed a rent payment once. Be careful who you rent out to Bas, could really you up. Make sure that at least one of the people/couple you end up renting to has a job/career with a well established company/corporation. Good luck Habibi, may Allah's angels smile down upon you even though your girl is a offspring of a white devil, Muhammed will forgive.

Moved all our stuff in today, I've had to install the stove and hood (old one was broken), curtains, disassemble and reassemble our bed (ing narrow hallway  ), re-light the water heater's pilot because the gas co said it wasn't exhausting properly (I showed him :@)

I'm exhausted and sweaty and dirty and the satellite guy just put a giant whole in our original hardwood floor :/

I love this house, I want to be inside of it. Sexually.

Oh and I scratched the floor already, if anyone tells Bunny I will ing stab them :@
