trust me, it does not :) recently saw them in a 500ppl max club and it was no less epic AT ALL. If Giant makes it an absolute hassle getting *in*, that might take some of the shine off, but seeing as it's a much smaller event thank TAO, I don't see that being a problem (like is *always* is at the Sports Arena). |

I can back this up. I've seen Above & Beyond at Tentation out in Newport a few years back as well as at the Colliseum full of people . Tentaiton has more room to dance and they rocked it just as hard as they did in LA. I probably enjoyed it more at Tentation because of the vibe it had (no 14 year old kids rolling around on the ground sucking pacafiers all night). |

Above & Beyond played at EDC 2007 to a crowd of some 35,000 people and then again at LoveFest, I think it was the following year. I enjoyed both sets immensely, as did the two members of A&B who were there at each event...Jono even surfed into the crowd at LoveFest (yeah, I have that on video)!
One of their very best sets was at Avalon when all three followed Ferry Corsten at 4am. I actually think they will have a much better interaction with the crowd in a smaller venue, but they are completely adaptable to either. I predict that people will be talking about their set for years to come!

| Seriously considering making the trek down from SF for this show. I like the idea of staying at the same hotel as the party. Easy access, easy partying. I mean it's not like I'll be sleeping or anything. |

Just got an email from Giant that the GA early bird ticket price of $65 ends tomorrow (Tues12/1). If you're planning on getting a hotel room too, I would jump on it, as the Bonaventure's special rate for this event is about $50-60 lower than their otherwise lowest rate. Honestly, I'd be surprised if there are still rooms left this late in the game for NYE...

yea this is a much better line up than TAO./... Trance Wise.. (i love markus but i prefer a solo set..)
I mean.. Cosmic Gate, CL, A&B, Kristina... OMFG i would see any of them ALONE and call it an epic night, and to put them all together- hell yes!!
Sadly tho im not going, i decided to be back east for NYE because ill be there for Xmas and i want to spend more time with my friends (just moved from Boston to Vegas in August)..
other wise id so be there. So have fun guys! I want pics, vids, reviews! etc! :) |
