Parking tip: 725 Grand St., huge structure, lots of empty spaces when I got there around 5pm. The attendant said it's $10 if I'm out by 4pm Friday. The parking at Union Bank is only $15 on weekends, $38 overnight is exiting after 3am. Overnight parking at Bonaventure is $32 for hotel guests. A lot of people here already, waiting in a huge line for check-in now!
Just overheard someone say that 2 free hotel wristbands come with each room, extras are $25 each additional guest. |

| I am taking the train to the Union Station exit. No parking fee and dirt cheap, plus faster than by car I would imagine. |

Hotel tips: if you're staying at the Bonaventure and are a Starwood Preferred Guest, then go to the really short line to check in (wish I had seen it earlier!). You can sign up as a Starwood Preferred Guest instantly for free, just Google it for the registration/sign in page.
Ask for late checkout (subject to availability), mine was extended to 2pm at no charge!
Wristbands must be worn at all times after 6pm to be inside the hotel (except for the designated party ballrooms). The guest clerk suggested putting the wristband on right away, as they cost $50 to replace! :eek:
Wish the staff a Happy New Year, they're working hard while everyone else is partying! :D |

Parking update #411:
Big sign across from Bonaventure, Figueroa St side shows $10 EVENT PARKING. It's the Union Bank building, I swear that sign wasn't there earlier! Ask when the event rate ends just so they don't get you on the way out though! :D |

| Perfect night to start the new decade. A&B were solid, and being on the rail up front for Cosmic Gate was amazing. Nic can really spin, and C.L. kept us dancin' as he always does. He may have had the best set IMO. But the best part was 21+ and plenty of room to dance, and even on carpet. 5 dollar beers were great too. A&B tomorrow! ;) enjoyed this night so much |

| It was fun! I thought Above & Beyond's set could've definitely been better but Cosmic Gate's set definitely killed it. |
