2009.12.31 [LA] GIANT HOTEL New Year's Eve at The Bonaventure (pg. 3)

I promise this party will be off the hook. First Giant NYE I ever promoted was Giantventure at the Bonaventure. Bout 20,000 that year so it was a bit of a cluster, but still the best party I've ever been too. This will be smaller scale so everyone is happy. Guys, there are many perks to having a the party at the same place as your hotel room. I recommend getting your tix and booking your rooms ASAP!!! Gonna be like nothing else you've ever experienced. Kinda bummed I'm not still working for them for this one.

Yea this has been done before with them. I hate when its done though. They each have their own preferences they put in. And they are going to start touring as a live performance. So guess if this is the case, its not for NYE

Anyone found the link for room reservations yet? Says they will be available today, but nothing happens when I click the NYE section. Are we supposed to go to Westin's site directly and enter a promo code or something?

...and more...Super8 & Tab would be, well, super! If A&B can do it, I guess they could too... :D

That's true. I remember that ;)

Anyone had luck with the discount rooms? So far I see $199

So how does this compare to the other Giant Maximus' from prior years? They had it outside in a big parking lot.. which i thought was cool since there was enough room.. will this be a smaller venue? I've never been there. I don't prefer to dance in place.

This event has 5000 max capacity and is inside the hotel. The previous events were much larger.

A&B though, very enticing...any word on ticket prices so we can coordinate with friends, etc. before buying?

Also, if you're "stuck in a room" due to capacity limits, are any restrooms available without leaving the room? Tiesto did that once at Park Plaza and people were peeing into water bottles since they couldn't get back in if they left the main room, was very gross...

Oh, I remember that night... totally :(

It is the biggest hotel in California. Love the place. I've stayed there every NYE since the Giantventure. Still got a roll of posters from that one. And not that this one will be just like the last Giant at the Bon, but I do remember an 11 hour tagteam set from 11pm to 10 am by Danny Howells and Lee Berridge in the Pasedena room. Ahhh...good times. You just don't know what will happen when the party is in a venue like this. Just make sure to respect the LA landmark hotel.

Not sure if this line up is thumbs up, thumbs down or just meh.
