| are there any ticket outlets selling tix? im not down for willcall |
|

| GIANT Hotel |
All remaining rooms at The Bonaventure will be sold at $169 per night for Single Occupancy, $179 per night for Double Occupancy. There are less than 50% of the rooms still available, so it’s best to book as soon as you can, but the price will remain the same until they’ve all sold.
We’re putting tickets in the usual retail outlets this week. An announcement to this regard will follow. |

Will the # of occupants per room be strictly enforced (e.g. all hotel guests must wear I.D. bracelets, etc..) ? It's unfortunate that big rowdy groups ruin it for the others but what happens if we have a few friends who like to stop by and spend a couple of hours in the room? |

I can back this up. I've seen Above & Beyond at Tentation out in Newport a few years back as well as at the Colliseum full of people . Tentaiton has more room to dance and they rocked it just as hard as they did in LA. I probably enjoyed it more at Tentation because of the vibe it had (no 14 year old kids rolling around on the ground sucking pacafiers all night). |
I don't like how 21 and over clubs like Avalon are so lame. The energy in the crowd is killed like they're all old farts. You'll never see "crrrazy" show when it's 21 and over in my opinion. I just can't imagine older folks (and I'm 22) really getting all that excited over the music. |

MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I have many friends in the over 21 crowd who can shake most anyone down to the ground and are the last ones standing at the end of the night...where is Michelle, anyway? :D It's usually the kids who are sitting in puddles on the floor at the big events I've been at.
I wouldn't base much on one particular club, things vary greatly on how the music is, etc. Maybe you should try Circus out this weekend if there are no other plans... :) |

true to a certain extent.
There are pros and cons to hanging out with younger and older crowds so I agree with both of the opinions above. |

:stongue:
I consistently see more adults bust a move harder and far later into the morning than I ever saw anyone in the underage crowd do when I used to go to those shows. |

I only go for the music not to meet people I'll never speak with ever again in my life. If a conversation comes up so be it but I paid the cash for the DJ's so that's waht I'm going to do. And when I get to the crowd I want them bouncing and cheering all ed up drugs and alcohol. I could care less about those clubs I've been to where it's mostly just older guys trying to dress up nice to pickup drunk chicks where the music isn't even the real focus. When I've been to younger crowds in clubs like at the HEIST for example on Thursday nights there's a ton of energy in the audience and is way more PLUR centric than West Coast wanna-be guido/asian mafia 21+ over clubs.
Trust me Above & Beyond and Cosmic Gate are at the top of my list but I would not want to be in that kind of atmosphere and I've had enough of it. |

i have never been to a single event with that over 21 atmosphere you're griping about. Maybe you only see what you're looking for. I'm usually too busy out there on the dancefloor with my 21+ness to notice what people around me are doing, much less whine about it. You have to be a cuddle puddle mess in the middle of the room to get in the way of my good time, and even then it's hard.
If you don't care about the people there and you only go for the DJs and not to be part of the community, then who cares who else is there and what their angle is? You can't have a good time because there are old people trying to pick up chicks? Get out there and dance and quit complaining. |
