I do notice the patterns I create but I do work on "me" all the time. Also in other areas of my life besides music (gym,etc) But there is only so fast a pace I can get better bro.
I just fear if I don't get better faster I may honestly lose the overall drive to produce anymore. And saying that does not implicate the virus as = better sounds, I know that.
But to me its more testing new grounds, I mean after 6 years with a girl you should be married. I've been producing basically every single day (well almost) for all those years, so its time I get at least one good hardsynth.
Maybe the virus won't inspire me, and maybe I'll sell it in 6 months and spend the money on piano lessons idk. All I know is I love some of the sounds it can make, and I'd like to see what I can do with it. |

A virus has much better algorithms, and higher end DSPs that are faster and result in better sound. | Yea, I don't understand one bit of this either. Years of research and he never noticed the backside of a Nord lead/rack does not have usb. Years of research and he doesn't know that Virus TI has DSP chips (processors) and a bit of software that drives them - or the fact that that's virtually the same as just software. And even implying software programmers are less dedicated/skilled (because they -arguably- spend less time on algorithms wtf). Is he a software programmer for a VST company now as well? It's funny :). |
