.A Canadian doctor who has treated sprinter Donovan Bailey, figure skater Patrick Chan, golfer Tiger Woods and NFL players is suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs, according to a newspaper report.
The New York Times reported on its website Monday night that Dr. Anthony Galea was found with human growth hormone and Actovegin, a drug extracted from calf's blood, in his bag at the U.S.-Canada border in late September. He was arrested Oct. 15 in Toronto by Canadian police.
Using, selling or importing Actovegin is illegal in the United States.
Dr. Galea is also being investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for smuggling, advertising and selling unapproved drugs as well as criminal conspiracy. He is tentatively scheduled to make a court appearance in Canada on Friday.
In a Globe and Mail report published Oct. 29, RCMP confirmed they raided Dr. Galea's Toronto-area offices on Oct. 15 but would not comment citing a continuing investigation.
None of the accusations against Dr. Galea have been proven in a Canadian or American court of law, and his lawyer says he is not guilty of any criminal activity or impropriety.
The FBI has opened an investigation based in part on medical records found on Dr. Galea's computer relating to several professional athletes, people briefed on the inquiry told the Times on condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing a continuing investigation. |

She's a complete moron if she stays. It is unhealthy for the kids to be subjected to living with two parents how despise each other. It would be healthier if they divorced and went on with their lives....especailly Elin. She should realize that she married a man-whore who probably has a bunch of STD's by now and should take her money and enjoy her life. |

I'm sure he can. Right now's a good time to 'use' the media that devours those who they put up on pedestals and make a public apology and accept/admit he fkd up. Something like: I srsly messed up and am dealing with the consequences of my actions. I luv her and my kids but can't blame her for wanting to leave me."
One thing I did come to admire though is his wife. The dude is a billionaire!! filthy rich and not bad looking either, yet she has enough self respect and dignity that not all the money in the world or that he offers her is enough for her to sit there and 'stand by her man' like an idiot. Good for her. He can't help it...it's the brakka blood in him that made him do it. |

as soon as tiger wins his first tournament back the sponsors will be all over him again. The reason they left is because he won't be golfing. As for his personal life....he will try to save his marriage but i don't know why anyone would stay with someone who did what he did. |
