Tiger's statement speaks for itself. We offer our full support to Tiger and his family and will continue to honor and respect his request for privacy in this matter. We will have no further comment on Tiger's statement.
Once again the PGA is treating tiger with kid gloves....they sure would hate to kill the money machine. |
lulz
what does Tiger's private life have to do anything with PGA? he wasn't caught doing drugs, yo.
good response from them, IMO. |

Other golfers have been suspended from the tour because of "transgressions" in their personal life....John Daly to name one. Tiger should be suspended from the tour but that would never happen to their money maker. |

Daly has had many off-course problems and it has occurred over years. This is one little bump in the road for Tiger. If Tiger became an alcoholic, racked up a massive gambling debt, and talked a lot of smack then he should be suspended. Daly is also a money maker but his personal problems in the past outweighed his exemptions to events etc |

Daly also smoked on the courses, swore like crazy, and was shaking from going through detox while playing a round. Not exactly similar incidents.
The sports world was over reacting to Tiger's anger (at himself) earlier in the year, that was unfair. This was the right response by the PGA. The cops have concluded their investigation, nothing criminal. Cheating is a civil matter, to be handled in court between him and his wife. The PGA has absolutely no jurisdiction as a sports governing body. |

good answers to Chem's post
Lost in all this are these skanks who knew he was married and with newborns and now are trying to profit from spreading their legs for him.
Lessons to be learned by all:
don't cheat
don't beat your cheating spouse.
don't cheat with ppl you know that are in relationships.

Daly still smokes on the course and still swears....many golfers smoke and all golfers swear on the course. There are moral clauses that golfers have to follow...just like with contracts players sign in other sports.
Tiger will get a free pass simply because he is tiger....When the name and face of the PGA Tour is a lying and cheating scumbag something needs to be done. I guarantee other golfers and the PGA knew what was going on and 1. they told tiger to keep it on the down low or 2. said nothing and just let tiger be tiger. |
