source?
all it says anywhere is that he had a split lip and bruises from crashing his car
sure, she was right after him with a golf club, but there is no proof (yet?) that she physically attacked him

for all we know he left so he wouldn't smack her around - to cool down so to speak

obviously everyone is speculating and the cops are now investigating her assault. But the fact that so many people are willing to forgive/make fun of/celebrate the fact that his wife may have done all this is nothing more than downright disgusting every bit as much had it been the reverse tale.

Society is excusing/ignoring this every bit as much as they used to with violence against women.

"she probably deserved it anyway"... "what goes on in their house is none of our business" etc etc

no way dude, I don't think that's the right attitude either
abuse is abuse, and it doesn't have a gender (or shouldn't have one anyway).. I'm just saying that Rihanna's case was a bit different.. and a bit more clear cut too

I think society feels it's more acceptable if a woman beats a man than the other way around. Double standard? yes...but there are tons of double standards that exist even today despite efforts of equality. Anyways, Tiger is a loser...

I didnt say I think it's ok....I simply said that society maintains certain double standards, mostly favouring men. This is one example where its that isn't the case however.
