Mel, it sucks, I feel bad for you, and you know its legitimate that he was "looking better" or "sounding better" but if he had made these sort of threats in the past, which he had, we had all seen it, then you can NEVER take your eyes off of him. If he made these motions then you have to get them help. You never ever doubt someone when they talk about suicide.
Remember what he was, but remember that he hurt you in the end. Thats a horrible way to view it, but its the realistic and truthful way of looking at it. Otherwise you do not stigmatize suicide. You need to stigmatize suicide the same way you stigmatize other violent crimes.
So sorry if I am offending any of you, but grow up and take a realistic, unbiased view of suicide and you will see where I am coming from. Thats not something you can do now, but in a few months or a year step back and go "OK let me look at what Raul did, and how do I feel about it."

If you are not going to post anything positive in rememberance of DA please do not post anything at all.
We have lost a TA member which is something we should be trying to remember him for the goodness he had with in him. Not whatever issues he may have been going thru or what opinions you may have.
No need to post about any issue he had or problems he was going thru. He was good person with a bigger heart than alot of people on this board.
He will never be forgotten.

Whatever, you guys go on and ing make suicide seem like an acceptable alternative to getting yourself or someone else help.
I'll sit here satisfied that I at least prevented one of these threads a couple years back. :)

i'm so sorry mel and everyone that was close to him.. i remember him being a solid guy, a straight up dude. really thoughful and considerate. It makes me really sad to think he was in so much pain and felt this was his best option. out of respect for those who are affected by his passing, perhaps opinons of suicide are best left unsaid tonight.

Ive been in his shoes before and its the hardest thing ive gone through, even worse than cancer. It is possible to get better but nobody can help you do that, all up to you in the end.
