Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for everyone, Mel especially, same with Chrissi, and everyone else who was close to him. It sucks, it shouldn't be this way. I know that sounds hypocritical given the venue I chose to spout my views, but I believe very strongly in them and I am sorry that they are inflammatory and seemingly uncalled for at this time.
Please don't think though that I am doing this out of ignorance. I am not. Suicide has struck inside my family before and one whole side suffers from strong clinical depression.
Again I am sorry for the lose to all of you.

As a Psychiatry major I can surely tell you that clinical depression is a disorder and it can sometimes becomes so severe that it's untreatable.
If Raul did not want to be helped, NO ONE could have helped him and by telling us, his very close friends, that WE should have done more makes you a true idiot. A person that is suffering from severe depression with no means out cannot just wake up one day and not feel depressed anymore.
Perhaps you cannot comprehend it as your brain functions much differently than his did but it's possible. So it isn't wise to speak on what you simply do not understand.
No one can be helped unless they absolutely want to and sadly in Raul's case, he saw no other way out.
