Seriously though....the only person who can choose to kill or not kill themselves is the person them self. I'm not gonna argue for or against suicide here as to do so is an insult to Raul's memory, but this is the choice he made and we should respect that.
Insulting people is worthless in a thread where you've tried to elevate your own agenda over what should be a fairly reverent topic. |

Your personal opinion on the matter is absolutely ridiculous. You wouldn't be mad at a person with down's syndrome for not being able to function normally, so why would you get angry with someone who has a different mental condition who can't control their feelings?
It has nothing to do with being selfish. These people suffer day in and day out because they are physically ill. It is selfish of the people around them to think that they should just suck it up and be happy. Actually committing suicide has little to do with anyone except for that persons desire to relieve themselves of the pain that they go through.
Saying that you understand what it's like to be depressed to the extent of considering suicide is utter bull if you cannot understand this. Being really sad is not the same as a ing mental illness. |

I've been having an ongoing battle with depression for who knows how long. There is no easy way out. Sometimes you feel as if life isn't worth the struggle. |

Well I am glad I was along for your ride... That was one of the tiest, most stressful nights I have ever had and I ended up hating someone with a passion over it as well. |

You're arguing that suicide is wrong for the grief it causes and yet here you are in this thread pissing all over people's requiem and insulting a man from beyond the grief in a grossly disrespectful show of self-righteousness?

Nobody here thinks that... I was in pretty bad place for a whole year and I honestly just somehow got better gradually. This guy was supposedly depressed for years.. I can't even imagine having to go through with that. Nobody here is an expert and nobody should judge because every human is different. |

All right, Nou, this is already out of order: I'm not opposed to a discussion about suicide, but this is uncalled for.

i didn't want to post in the cor because i thought maybe more ppl would be like nou.
but i think I am so numb that it doesn't bother me at all. i am just thinking about all the times we shared (soooo many).

| Meh, thanks for posting here Eric. I rarely wander into the regional sections and given his presence here, it's pretty appropriate that we have a thread here too. If this thread didn't exist, I'd likely not have found out for awhile. This thread has also cause me to open up communication with a few people I haven't talked to in some time, which is, I think, as fitting of a way to remember Raul as playing some Rank1 and what not. |
