Just downed some Boddington's Pub Ale and some Badger's Fursty Ferret.
The Boddington's was ok, rather smooth but more like a watered-down Kilkenny. The Ferret was good, and tasted like what my dad used to be able to brew at home. |

The beer reminded you of your dad and now you have a hardon?
Why would you admit to that? |

| just got home from the Beatification release at Russian River Brewery in Santa Rosa. I'm not so geeky about beer, but my brother is big on it and I was up north anyway so I volunteered to pick up some more for him. it's definitely the best sour I've ever had, and their Row 2/Hill 56 may take the cake for IPAs. we also did a bottle share with some elite alcoholics, apparently some world class stuff was being passed around but I am kind of a newb so I don't recall everything. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of the bottles tomorrow. |

Probably one of the best beers I've tasted. |
