| sounds awful. i can't drink the cheap stuff with an alcoholic percentage over 6. it's just the regular 5% stuff with a few drops of cheap liquor in it. i've never tried faxe, but i tried some crap called Atlas that was well above 10% while in Amsterdam. |

i love strong beers.
more along the lines of Duvel and Delirium Tremens though.
La Maudite and La Fin Du Monde are decent too...
The Faxe might not have been tasty but the liver damage was worth it. |

Ugh, there's some of that hardcore here that's just revolting. Maximator was the one that I had. I couldn't deal with it at all.
I like stronger Belgian beers and the Unibroue stuff was great when I lived in Canada. This other like Atlas or Maximator is just wrong. |

Augustiner Maximator? Not particularly hardcore IMO...
Picked up a bottle of this tonight. Had it on draught last weekend ($3 FTW!) and really enjoyed the '08 release. Looking forward to trying the bottled version...

I'm drinking Molson M right now...it is just a generic domestic beer, but i kind of like it. The sell point is that it does not go flat after 5 minutes and it is cheap:p Our domestic beers are so much better than American brews.
