The Flyers sucked in the back half of the season and got into the playoffs only because Olli Jokinen missed a shot during a gimmicky shootout.
They are completely undeserving of a championship for that reason...I'm sorry...but to get into the playoffs on a shootout attempt and then try to talk ...lol. |

Its all about heart. Look at what happened to them this season with the goalies, then injurys,etc..they finally became a team. If you dont like "lappy" and his heart, and the rest of the team, well, you just dont get hockey. And I played at high junior levels at it, so unless you played the game you might not understand this...they are there for a reason, if not NJ, BOS, and MTRL would be there... |

i have a feeling philadelphia will pull this out as well, for one they are an older team and this might be their last hooray. they want this badly and not to say chicago doesn't but seems a bit different. i think we'll see chicago win a cup with that core group of guys but i'm not sure they are ready to win right now. |
