Good thread. Could you update the first post when ppl respond? This could be a great sticky for ppl to go back to when they're looking for something specific.
Mexican is another I'm looking for.
I know RJ always posts good restaurants he's been to on YELP. |

Duff's (from what i heard the original one is in the buffalo area)
handsdown best wings in the city (one is near bayview/davisville & another on college)
the Armageddon wings are the best wings i have ever had..

| My favourite Mexican place is a tiny one at the corner of Shaw & Bloor called Mexi Taco. Not the best name, but their food is the best I've had in Toronto. $50 for a full meal & drinks for 2. |

lol I don't think this was meant to be a fine dining thread. But more of "the best place to go when you're in the mood for something specific" |

I always love to go to the Pickle Barrel. They have a huge menu.
It's on Yonge close to the Eaton Centre |

I like the food at the Pickle Barrel (though I wouldn't say they have "the best" of anything), but I don't think I'll ever go back there again. I've had so many bad experiences with the staff there - mainly being incredibly slow and unaccommodating. It's happened three times at the Eaton Center location, twice at the one on Eglington, and numerous other experiences my friends have had. Between waiting forever for a table, when there's tables open; No one coming to take a drink order, and when they do, disappearing for 20 minutes before we even get our drinks, and then having to wait another 15 just to have our order taken; Then getting our food late and then not having anyone come check on us to see if we need anything - especially when we do. It's unacceptable, and like I said, the same thing has happened on multiple occasions. |
