They should ask their parents why they were ripped out of heaven into this garbage country...

Obviously Canada is garbage since our schools lied to us about WWII and we are a war hungry nation...

You should be deported...

Ha ha, you just dug your own grave buddy :)

I came here 15 years ago, working ty job for $6/hour, job so ty no canadian would do it.
Then I got better job, learned some english, my ex gave birth to two girls, (one of them I'm raising all by myself last 8 years, BTW), was honestly paying taxes, etc. I was and still is your average citizen, you pass me on the street, you won't notice anything.
I think I did put my fair share in Canada over 15 years.
So, please explain to me, how come canadian white trash, sitting on the front porch of their houses drinking beer all day, draining social security system, is better for Canada?
Or maybe single mom with 10 kids from Africa, who hasn't worked here single day, but still feels she is entitled to welfare check every month?

Firstly, Orko I completely understand where you are coming from, the last thing one wants is to be insecure in their own home, and as you can see I live in the same home or "country" as you.

I'l tell you where I'm coming from to clarify my outrage at the support. Clearly, you and I don't want war, we would prefer that it just seizes to exist, but you yourself brought up a good point. "But, not everybody thinks like that, and we need to accept that as fact, and be prepared." I am of course assuming you are referring to "them" or "terrorists". But what if, just what if, the only reason the other side "them" or the "terrorists" have the same feelings is due to the same insecurities regarding their home. Can you agree with me there? And for now, I' m ignoring the fact that "terrorists" are probably just a figment of our imagination at this point… like seriously.

My own, be it limited experience tells me that this preemptive nature has been the driving force behind war, both sides will come up with reasons as to why it is OK to kill, in the name of their own country or belief or whatever. In this case you guys think it is OK to kill based on vague assumptions of international threats, and national pride, correct me here if I am wrong.

And jaxx, I AM NOT LOYAL TO ANY COUNTRY, sorry if that bothers you but I am not so blindly nationalistic as you are. Canada can kiss my ass for all I care, im a citizen of earth and these borders that you speak of have nothing to do with me as I had no say into placing them there, in fact I would get rid of them if it was up to me but it is not up to me. That is not the real problem anyways but your posts regarding the borders in the North Pole simply do not showcase any reason for worry, and Russia will not start a war.

Since you guys seem certain that a threat is around the corner, could you enlighten me as to whom this threat is? Which country or countries may attack Canada in the near future? I am just interested to know.
I digress, and return to my original question, and while I ask this question, I am assuming that in fact you all want peace and not war. So how does getting more killing machines get us closer to peace on earth? If they did not exist it would be harder to kill wouldn't you say? Of course we are not looking at the benefits of spending all that money on things we need either. It’s very simple, at least to me. I am not scared of any group of people; I think they are my brothers and sisters.

Why do I live in the same country as you (you guys) but feel completely safe from any real dangers, in my own opinion I think its naive to think any country will attack us, as there is a lack of evidence to support it. (Unless you can show me that, I'm willing to re think my position)

I am not harping on you guys, but let’s get serious for a change and stop the cycle of hate that surrounds us, it’s like everyone is ing scared of their own shadow! Why are you guys letting the powers that be control your outlook on others? Is it possible all these wars are based on PURE hot air? I'm seriously asking that question, wars are not good, they really are the worst thing humanity can do to itself. I am shocked that so many of you loosely think that it’s ok to kill others.

What are you taking about???

If they were called to defend their country, they would probably go...

That's why I said you should be deported...

My comment had nothing to do with what you've done... It's about what you refuse to do...

And believe me when I say that the in Russians are THE LAST people that I'm worried about invading us...

Just because you gave up on a good future for yourself and your family doesn't mean I did. I am younger than you so I have had less bull dug into my head by the media and such... who are you so scared of anyways?

I support this acquisition because I believe in keeping our forces up to date...

Plus these planes are sick ass jets and I'm a HUGE sick ass jet fanatic...

I'll say this as to why we should maintain an updated armed forces...

It's better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it...

Hey man, at least I'm being honest about it, unlike our friends from Mississauga, who are model citizens, until one morning you open newspapers and read about Toronto 20.

Maybe you should read what I wrote before, instead of ignore it... and secondly its funny how you ask "what am I scared of" and then support your "non scared state" by telling me how strong you are (your country and your army). Why do you need it if no one is going to attack you? again who are you scared of? who is this threat that we are all scared of? Can you try thinking about what I'm saying for more than two seconds?
Anas Attia
And, I hope this hits home hard...

Would you send your own children to war, to become killing machines, to condition them to kill others? Would you? I wouldn't dare place my own children in that situation... literally to get conditioned to hate and fear others.
