here's my question. Ok, I get that I heard SHM-One a million ing times. I never want to hear it again. for a while every DJ at glow was spinning it, then they chilled... and then at this festival.. jesus h christ.
fine. its popular with the mainstream. drop it. its fun, the first time or 2.
but what was with hearing we are your friends everywhere? did they re-release it or something?

I agree and didn't Armin get the memo? I know he played SHM-One numerous times throughout the summer but why close out with a song that was played at least 10 times that weekend? I would have closed out with a classic Armin track or a proper trance track...

thing is... i think i was the 2nd to last interview before he went on and we were talking about communication. and i was really hoping that to close he'd be like, "yeah I just told that kick ass interview guy Ravi, who is the man, how great communication was, maybe ill play that."
lol. he didnt ;( but w/e he still banged out. I thought armin's set was great. not cheesey at all. i mean ... he played platinum. nuff said

I won't mention any names... But to anyone who had any complaints about electric zoo, the way they ran things, the lines, the vendors, etc...
it's one thing to make suggestions to improve i.e. sprinklers to run and play in (great idea!) or covers for the metal 'spikes' that held the tents up (cause i hit my foot on that too)...
but anyone complaining about the bookings, the genres, the lines, or anything like that...
YOU ARE AN UNGRATEFUL
i hate people who talk online, and im guilty of it right now. but still, what the are your problems? Jesus H christ. not enough trance, the trance you did get was too safe and cheesey. the techno sucked, no one has heard of those DJs (you are wrong). go yourselves.
Made Event brought an EDM festival to New York City. And you complain?!?! Get the over yourselves!!! You are NOT the authority on anything. Nor will you ever be. Made has worked their asses off for the last ten years bringing the DJs you love to NY. And you continue to complain?!?! You disgust me.
All people want to do these days is bitch. bitch bitch bitch. complain complain complain. let the world know how annoyed they are and moan in any ear that will listen. And I'm doing it right now. what a ing hypocrite. I disgust myself right now.
but you ungrateful s that have anything negative to say about Made disgust me even more.
THEY BROUGHT A FESTIVAL TO NEW YORK. be thankful

nah just annoyed and felt like leaving a little rant. there's no better way to get an annoying resentment out of your system than to bitch and moan on an online forum. and to a point, I guess that idea can be applied to those who i'm bitching and moaning about. but still...
show a little gratitude to Made rather than bitching and moaning. The glass is more than half full people!! its overflowing!!!

question: not that i complain about made or anything but if ticks are 400 bucks next year for both days we shouldn't complain just because they are bringing a festival to nyc?

you are a whole different story my friend. lol. deep down inside you love 'cheesy' music. you just can't admit that sometimes, when you're by yourself, you throw on NSync's Tearin Up My heart and sing your brains out while staring into a full length mirror. LOLOLOLOL
I mean, do you really think it will be 400 next year for a 2 day pass? This year it was what, $107 if you bought them right when they came out? 2 days, 11/12 hours each day, with a line up that's going to be ridiculous every year is a steal. If they double the starting price, I couldn't complain. I could be annoyed but you have to think of it like this... They are paying a ton in booking fees, equipment rental, security, the insurance must be through the roof, sound people, lighting people, liquor license must be a ton of money too, whatever the cost to the county to rent the space for the weekend, clean up each night, sanitation, health/medical assistance and god knows what else.
I think they've earned the right to make a mighty profit off this event.
My guess is that ticket prices will start at $150 next year. And I suggest everyone buy them immediately instead of waiting until the last minute.
