Ghb, you're a ing hypocrite. Don't make me dig up all those posts you wrote, bashing pvd's gigs in nyc (that you didn't go to), based of nothing but a playlist someone posted. And yeah, I wouldn't mind meeting osterzone - he seems to have more sense, maturity, taste, and class than you ever will. And next time adults are talking, you stfu or it's a timeout corner for you, kiddo.
Grow up, jackass.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, I've been to quite a few PvD gigs (as many on here can attest to, since they saw me there), just none recently.
Are you talking about the first few gigs right after I stopped going to see him when I'd look at the setlist and it was almost the same as the last time I did go?

I was there with friends... the thing is, your argument doesn't stray far from vza's. Perhaps if I my expectations weren't set by last years ez, if I didn't waste as much money, I'd look at it similarily. Yes, shame on me for thinking I would get through the gate in under 1.5 hours and not miss Markus' set (which is how long it took on Saturday).
Shame on me for not knowing that Moby the dj plays hard techno, not the melodic fluff he peddles the rest of the time live.
My bad for not realizing how ty atb is.... oh wait, I knew that, but hoped Id be proven wrong. Still, my fault for ignoring the suspicion that many djs will play it safe - eg hard, dark, tech, repetitive - just like nyc is played nearly all the time. And my ing fault for ignoring 99% of asot's suckage and actually have audacity to hope that armin would drop a set to rival asot 450, nyc day 1.
My fault for thinking a band I knew off but consistently avoided for over 13 years, would win me over if I only saw them live. This one is trully on me.
I don't expect anyone to understand, but it really sucked to come with expectations from a year ago (which still is one of the best events I ever attended), and be so disapointed by this year's experience. Perhaps if I only wasted few hundred bucks like mos of you, I wouldn't feel so cheated. Yes, I know its petty... but I really planned for it and wanted to enjoy it, just didn't happen that way.
Its noones fault but mine. Just shared my experience and a view that is different from what most of you have. And its not an attack on music you love or not aimed to diminish your experience.
there, thanks for the couch, I feel better.
lol why the huge rant? And, what argument? I am not aruging with you?
I didnt see any of the acts you mentioned (ATB, Moby, etc), do you know why? Because if I didnt like what I saw, I went to a different tent. Simple. And if I didnt like any of the tents, I went and got a drink and caught up with friends, enjoyed the weather, the view, and some "backround" music....
I got in super fast on Saturday, and unfortunately you got caught in the single clusterf*ck that they had the entire weekend. No matter how organized Made wants to be, if half of the 50,000 people show up at the exact same time, its going to be a bit crazy. How can people NOT understand that an event of this size will not have cartain times that will cause a bit of a stall? If you wanted to see Markus, you should have known better and expected the worse.....

I got there when they had just started letting people in and there was a mob of people already waiting outside. It still didn't take that long to get in.

No, it wasn't Pink Trees, he opened with that. This track was about 3 or 4 tracks into his set and sounded like the nastiest acid-tech-house track ever to grace the earth.
Was definitely a groovin' tech track that had a slight buildup and then dropped the trippiest sound effect I've ever heard in an electronic tune. I NEED TO KNOW!
Found it! The bomb Digweed dropped in the 1st half of his set was
THAT'S the track Digweed dropped in the tent. HUGE

Sorry I have to disagree here. The clusterf*ck on Saturday afternoon was not organized at all.
I get it if there is orderly crowd control but there were only 6-8 people doing security checks. If you are expecting 25 000 for the day I would think more than that should be required.
The wait was just a big mob of people without any order. People were just cutting in where ever they wanted.
My suggestion would also be to have 2 different colour bracelets. One for people over 21 and one for people under. Then you don't need to have 2 different lines.
Sorry Kelly.. that was one of my only complaints about the festival.

guys, has any of the sets played at the Sunday School Grove show up yet in the internet?

Anyone know the track ID for the last song in Armin's set before the Encore (In and out / One)? You can hear the bell melody at about 1:50 in this vid.
