To be fair to Vegas, this does seem like they've definitely improved.

How though....Its one Hotel...

Consistency is the Key Word....If all the clubs across the board were consistant with their bookings then I would agree

look at last year...Haze had Tiesto for NYE...and for NYE this year, Haze had hip-hop

Billy Loves VEGASSSS!!!

Love that city. Hell, we even eloped in that city and got the hunka hunka burning love-Elvis package. But I can only take it for a couple of days. Anymore time there and my brain begins to melt away (along with my savings and credit card accounts)

As for Vegas being the EDM capital…. No… The true mecca will and always will be Ibiza.

But I would consider Vegas one EDM 5 points of interest for the US which includes such cities as LA, Miami, NYC and SF (SF being the best of course). Each has there own little vibe. We should be so lucky to have all of these options.

yeah... your right. Chicago and Detroit have history. But as for destination cities for people to party at in the US, I still think its Miami, Vegas, NYC, LA and SF (SF being the best of course)

:)

as far as destination, sure i can agree with u there..... the thing that attracts me about Vegas is that almost everything is 21+, dont have to deal with the drugged out kids like at massives in those other places

I feel your pain, John. I'm in Vegas every couple months pnly because I have family there. There are a few after-hours spots, but most are pretty awful (i.e. 2nd room in a strip club). I haven't been to the Artisan yet, but I hear good things. As for The Strip, you won't find any decent techno or deep house because there isn't a market for it. It's such a transient city, which means it's extremely difficult to build a local scene.
