I'm wondering, they have a funktion 1 mixer... is it good and if so, why don't we have it. Wouldn't be the most logical choice to go with?
One thing is for sure, not playing with the djm 2000 anymore. Will put the rane back on Black Outs. |

just googled that mixer... never knew Formula Sound made it...
i've heard that Formula Sound makes top notch mixers but i've never actually tried one.
edit: which rane do you use martin? the 2016? |

| Yes Circus's Rane mixer is a 2016... |

Reviews for the FF-6000 or 4000 seems very postive.
Most say it's one, if not the best sounding mixer out there.
I have been thinking for a while to buy myself my own mixer which I would carry from club to club... maybe the rotary 4000 is the one.
I will check it out |

| djm and sound quality never went together. Using a djm mixer with what you are about to play on is probably the equivalent to putting ketchup on lobster. |

At Circus right now... The sound is amazing. Very bassy and punchy, getting goosebumps. The highs were a little louder, but still very smooth on the ears.
Final test will be doing minor adjustments with a full room, I can't wait to play on those. They are great! |

After making some verifications, I have been confirmed that the FF-4000 mixer is outstanding. With rotary knobs, it's a total of a 3000$ invest.
So will do some tests with the Rane at the club, make sure it's clean and see how it goes. But I might sell my Native Maschine and go for it. I need one at home. |

i don't like the layout, but it seems to be a nice piece of kit. |

Looks a little weird, even cheap. But what's important to me is sound output, EQing and feel of knobs. There's one in stock in Boucherville, I'll go check out how it feels. |
