To me it just sounds like he's an old fart who's stuck in his ways and doesn't want to accept that music, like all things, changes over time.
If you spend all this time dwelling on how much better the classic trance was 10 years ago, you're going to miss out on a lot of good music of the present and future.
You claim to be a music lover of all varieties and cultures, but it sure sounds like you're the narrow minded one.

I'm not upset about Trance Changing, it is expected, like when most things hit mainstream (AfterMarket Car Mods, Hip Hop, etc)
I'm more baffled by these newer "Trance Heads" around me who claim to know so much about the Genre, but really have bought into the mainstream. The people who EXPECT Vocals in Trance, the people who really dont know the difference between the various Genres in Electronica (one person told me Deadmau5 is Trance....)
Really if you don't like what I have to say don't post. But I really dont mind, because than this gets bumped to the TOP!!

It's funny how hypocritical you sound in your posts. You call us elitists, yet you bitch about trance heads not being smart enough for you. You should know from your own experience that a lot of people are introduced to EDM through mainstream dance music and their love of the music encourages them to download more, explore new artists and learn more about the music and different sub-genres of EDM. Ppl aren't going to know everything there is about EDM right off the bat.
