Ferry Corsten is terrible and has been for a few years now. I saw him at the Guv this past year and his set was unbelievably boring.

I didn't check his Set this Yr (GUV events in the GUV Room are unbearable, especially when its a Popular DJ) but he has endurance unlike no other....

Sadly, These days, to get any attention (regardless if you know what you're talking about) you have to stir up some controversy to get people to actually listen.
"Any Publicity is Good Publicity" from a Celebrity POV...and it applies to forums as well!!
I don't know which event I'm going to next (I can go without Shah, and I think Van Doorn just passed in Waterloo?) but maybe we can all get together and discuss the evolution of dance music.
I didn't come here to have people agree with me, I came here to expand my horizon of EDM.

van Doorn in Waterloo wasn't all that great, and the sound system there is sub-par. They also don't have a liquor license so the club was full of teenagers randomly flailing around glowsticks thinking it was super cool. There's semi-frequent trance nights at Vola, and if you're more into the more "classic" sounding trance, I've heard John 00 Fleming will be coming to Toronto more often as well, so that would be worth checking out.

Yea I saw RONSKI SPEED at Vola in January. Ronski is another dude you can ALWAYS Rely on. His whole set was amazing, but then he plays stuff like GOURYELLA, CERTITUDE, and EOSvsSATELLITE to end the night, DUDE I was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SPEAKER!!
