I dont really have much to say
But to those who say this isn't any of tas business it is. We've all heard his sob stories about being single and we were all really happy for him when he met Lindsay. I think it's fair to say we all feel cheated and betrayed. I'm having a hard time believing everything :( |

It would be hard to believe that you wouldn't think something was up if something like this was going on for such a long period of time. If I even had the slightest suspicion that something was up I would have to make the decision that either
a) approach my wife and ask her point blank what is going on and decide what I want to do after talking to her
or
b) just pretend I don't think something is going on and live in denial, which most likely would cause the marriage to fall apart anyhow |
Fair enough. I'd like to know myself but I don't know if I'd have someone tell me or try and figure it out. I mean what's the likelihood after years of marriage eventually not finding out? Like others have said it's probably going to come to light anyway. |

When I was in university I used to see an old man sitting in the park all the time. He just sat there all day talking to himself, ting his pants, and feeding the birds. Dude was crazy. I felt bad for him because, well, he was a crazy old man talking to birds whilst sitting in his own ... until one day I watched a little closer and realized that he was really happy. To him, everything was great. Now I could have said "hey, you're a crazy old man sitting in " you know; so that he could face the truth, a truth that he could never change and would just have to live with, I mean, he should really know that he's crazy right?... but that would have robbed him of his happiness. It's not a lie until the person knows the truth. |
I really like this!! Ignorance can sometimes be such sweet bliss. |

Adding details like this are so unnecessary. Honestly, what compels you to keep adding fuel to the fire? Aren't you like, 40? |
Everything you've said so far in this thread is unnecessary. Aren't you like, the one complaining about people keeping this topic going? Just because you're a girl doesn't give you a free pass to be a hypocritical idiot. |

If I'm happy, the kids are happy and the wife is happy then no I wouldn't want to know. |
Disagreed...
A happy fool is still a fool...
Kids won't suffer as long as they still get love. Even if the parents are split up... |

I'd say it's completely necessary to point out what a bunch of highschoolers you are. Have you seen me speculate anywhere on what actually happened? No. Ok thanks. |

People aren't perfect. So you are going to have to understand that while thinking outside the box more then likely someone would make that decision for you. I understand you wouldn't end up in this situation because like you stated you would be keen to the first glimpse of deception.
But pretend one of your best friends saw your wife kissing a dude at a coffee shop, wouldn't you want to be told even if kids were involved or would you be mad he told you and you didn't figure it out first? |
I would be pissed at my wife but also pissed at my friend. Someone else shouldn't make that decision for me...once they tell you they can't take it back. Even though their intentions might be good, telling me is only making them feel better. |
