The set up will be dope. Booths won't be in the way so we can still pack the place and dance like it's 1999 again. |
You're missing the point. The booths can be suspended in mid air and completely out of the way, it won't matter.
It's the fact that there will be booths/bottle service to begin with. |

Some of the old school ravers need a place to rest but still want to be in the party :)

basically what you are saying is that you can only sit down if you pay 2000 bucks. Nice! let me get my cheque book. (this is the main reason, I hate bottle service. You feel like a ing bum that has to stand the whole night because you couldn't get 10 friends together to pay some crazy amount of money.) |

Ahhh ok, makes sense now. |

Yup.
Going back to a warehouse is suppose to be about a back to basics approach. Nothing but a dirty space and a ton of speakers, where everyone comes together for the music.
Bottle service creates a class divide, whether its the intention or not. I highly doubt it'll be the old school ravers who are dropping 2K on the booths, more like Tony D'Ambrosio and his cousins from Woodbridge.
If it really is as simple as wanting to give people the option of a place to sit down, then just set up the couches anyways and sell bottles of Smirnoff at the bar for $25.50. Hell, charge $50 and make a nice profit. |

Was making a bit of a joke...we're not going to please everyone but we're trying to bring together aspects from all scenes. The aim is defintely NOT to create divide.
At the end of the day everyone is there to be a part in something special. It's all about the music and the people around you. |

Same here. Excitement went from maybe an 8/10 to a 7/10 but meh it should still be good. Was just overly optimistic that they were really trying to take us back in time with the venue.
Either way if you compare it to Maison it's all +++, that place is a bottle service haven. |
