Luciano finally coming... (pg. 21)

what a night. im still recovering.
Felt like a huge rave from 1999.

Sneak was Stuck in NY due to cancelled flights because
of the weather.

Luciano and Ricardo played the best b2b set ive heard from them
in awhile. Lots of fun. I thought the dj booth was gonna collapse
from the sheer amount of people dancing on it lol

Sound was as expected. Even if you had a Funktion one in that
space it would echo like that.nothing you can do in such a huge space.

All in all it whent pretty smooth.
warehouses are always tricky to deal with.

But everyone i know had an absolute blast. And that was the biggest
techno party of the last 10 years maybe. around 2000 people all night

Agreed. Luciano carried the show. He was even pushing Ricardo off the mixer a few times because he was messing everything up.

Wicked track.

This one got me dancing up a storm.

I just wish they played more tracks like this throughout the night.

Hearing this track at Stereo with the new lighting and that sound system was like being transported onto another dimension.

Ricardo had so many crazy builds like this, wow.

Glad to hear this party was a success. I wish I had gone to this warehouse party instead of Calderone @ Stereo.

I wish you guys would have talked to be about this Stereo trip (sic)!

I would have gone for sure....Stereo is THE venue to check out this caliber in terms of sound and lighting....

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, the Toronto party was fun but as Code said, the venue could not match the sound of a real club.

From my review on MTLTA:

I was amazed with Ricardo last night.

The first 45 minutes of his set were absolutely incredible. After that, he did have some lulls, but he played everything I was expecting him to play and more. Segments of crazy percussion, really weird minimal segments, funky segments, a little bit of house.. There were about 4 or 5 moments in his set where he would have these craaaaazy builds and drops and had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hands.

Yes, as I said before, he did drone on at times, but that is the way Ricardo plays.

That is the best set I've ever heard him play.

Looking forward to round 2 with Victor tonight!

How was Calderone btw?
